Tom Tafolla has joined Abacus Semiconductor Corporation to provide contracts management support, government regulatory compliance, and business development services.

He has over 30 years of experience working in various corporate legal departments, where he has provided support to executive management in the areas of intellectual property, contracts management, and general legal services.

His corporate experience includes working for Cromemco, Inc., Watkins Johnson Company, John Fluke Manufacturing, Racal Vadic, ADAC Laboratories, Applied Biosystems, Intertrust Technologies Corporation, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, ESS Technologies, and LTX-Credence.

Tom holds a law degree from the University of San Francisco and received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Santa Clara University.

Since 1990, he has also worked as a university and college instructor in MBA and graduate engineering management programs in the areas of business and technology management, entrepreneurship, and technology innovation.
